Donn Bleau, President, Athletes In Transition
Donn Bleau has forged a successful 25+ year career in various capacities in corporate human resources, operations management with a worldwide sporting event and most recently in retained executive search. With a passion for sports and the business background and entrepreneurial prowess to “take another plunge” he has created a professional services firm that specializes in the career placement of former professional and Olympic athletes.
Raised in upstate New York, educated in the Boston area (some classes were at Fenway Park—really) and now a resident of Southern California, Donn firmly believes that corporate America would be wise to tap into the unique personal attributes that a top tier athlete can bring to any organization. Having attended hundreds of sporting events over his career he has gained access to a significant number of top performing athletes. Hearing their stories about life after sports and reaffirmed by sports officials at numerous governing bodies, Donn began researching corporate executives. Those combined findings are the basis for the formation of Athletes In Transition. Donn and his team of consultants are uniquely qualified to provide employers and athletes with the opportunity to create rewarding and mutually beneficial relationships.
